Baby won't sleep in his crib?

The only place my 3 month old son will sleep is in his swing. We've tried everything to get him to sleep in his crib but he cries every time and will not settle down until he is put in his swing. Swaddling, white noise, heart beat noises, a shirt i'd been wearing tied to the railing...nothing works. He has moderate reflux so his bed is at an angle with a rolled towel under the sheet to keep him from slipping down. Letting him cry it out, even for just a couple minutes, just sends him in into a frenzied tantrum and he breaks blood vessels in his eyes. I can't stand to see him so upset but I can't keep buying batteries and sleeping on the couch to be next to him because he wakes up periodically is getting really hard on my back. Are there any other parents who had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
