How do you stop swaddling?

My almost eight month old will not sleep through the night unless she is swaddled. I'm afraid we are going to end up swaddling her forever. She is growing out of her swaddle. The daycare says she will nap without being swaddle but will not sleep at home. What do i do? my dr says as long as she likes it to continue swaddling her. i'm afraid soon i wont have a blanket big enough to swaddle her.
