Christians: What version of the Bible is best to share with an Atheist/Agnostic?

Try explaining to them exactly why you believe what you do, and your own experiences with God and thoughts on God. Reading off a passage from the bible really doesn't do much for people, or at least the ones I know. So, maybe try that instead. But really, I don't think it's right to try and discuss it with people like that. If it comes up, tell them what you believe and why, if they question you further you should answer. If they don't, just let them come to you instead. I am pagan, a previous Christian, and when people try to discuss it with me without my asking them, it's quite annoying.
