Help! it takes me ageeeees to get my 5 month old to sleep?

Does he love being in a driven car? Try to go for a drive. That has helped me when my 5-6 month old was being difficult..Dont leave him to cry. I dont believe in that. Babies dont cry for no reason. Did you take him to doctor to see whether he has an ear infection or something else? Did you try putting on music and stand in front of the mirror and dancing while carrying him so he can see himself too? Sometimes mine stares at himself and me in the mirror and puts his head on my shoulder or chest and goes to sleep by the 2nd or 3rd song. I know how frustrating it is...hope my suggestions helps.
