Is there anything i can do?

i graduated college 5 years ago. Throughout the time there I had a good friend, who i was really attracted to and loved, but bc of different circumstances (i was with her best friend at college before i met her) i couldnt be with. all we had were a few kisses, cuddling, a lot of flirting and a few serious talks. after schol we then didnt talk for 5 years until she messaged me out of the blue Saturday. I still love her, i know that bc i cant stop thinking about her. now she lives in maryland, i live in boston. how can i smoothly find out if she still thinks of me romantically? nd how can i do things to improve her interest from so far away?
